Lilium leichtlinii, Leichtlin's Lily is named after Maximilian Leichtlin and is native to Japan. It is an exceptionally beautiful lily with lemon-yellow pendent flowers speckled with purple spots. It enjoys a fertile, humus-rich yet well-drained soil and grows to 1.5m. Protect from wind and stake as necesssary.
