Epimedium grandiflorum, Horny Goat Weed or Large Flowered Barrenwort, is a highly attractive ground-covering Epimedium from Asia where it has long been associated with herbal medicine. As an ornamental, it displays the typical Epimedium foliage, flushed with rusty-red and bearing delicate white spurred flowers in Spring. Prefers a fertile, humus-rich soil in partial shade and slowly forms a large clump spreading by rhizomatous growth
