Iris chrysographes 'Black Form' is a revered and sought-after form of Iris chrysographes with dark purple-black flowers. It is one of the darkest Iris cultivars. It has tall very linear foliage and usually flowers from May through to June. Forms an attractive elegant clump by rhizomatous growth.
