Dactylorhiza fuchsii, the Common Spotted Orchid, is native to a wide geographical range stretching from Ireland and the UK in the west, across much of Europe and east to Siberia. A very easy terrestrial orchid to grow, naturalising with time, it is an ideal orchid for someone just starting to experiment with hardy outdoor orchids and will grow well in varied soils but prefers an alkaline chalky substrate. Flowers from late May and early June.

Highly recommended. Nursery-grown stock. Very limited quantity...
