Heuchera 'Green Spice' has silvery-green foliage edged with a darker green margin and dramatic dark-red veins. The leaves are large and the overall effect is stunningly exotic particularly in cooler weather when the colouration is at its most intense, reminiscent of the dramatic contrasts of a tropical Caladium. In late autumn and winter some of the foliage can turn a bright orange. The whitish-green flowers on tall scapes are delicate although relatively insignificant - it is for the foliage that you will want to grow this Heuchera.
